I was born in Lublin, Poland. I work as an assistant professor at University of Life Sciences in Lublin, at the Department of Hydrology and Protection of Environment. I began to be interested in electronic music when I was as a child and listened to the hits composed by Marek Biliński, Vangelis and Jarre but only music of Tangerine Dream and Klaus Schulze firmely turned me to this kind of music. Analog synthesizers were very expesive in the 80's so I could not afford to buy cheap equipment. In the past (1990-1994) I played the drums and was a vocalist in a death metal band 'Certamen'. We did many concerts and I found much pleasure being a member of the band. The most interesting event was a charity concert in 1993. All things that remain after that gig are these photos and a video tape. Since that time I have nothing common with metal music. All things that remain after this period are some photos and a video tape from a concert. In my opinion, nature can be fully expressed musically only by electronic music. Paradoxically, living world may be precisely painted by electronic, some would say, artificial sounds. Moreover, an electronic music composer is able to create different voices according to some ideas and precisely present what influenced his/her imagination. All these things make that I am very fascinated by electronic music. Surely, it is a kind of music that move s listeners more that shallow music abundant on the radio and televison.
